Since 1994 Keffer Development Services, aka The Athletic Trainer System, has been designing and developing custom software for our clients. We started in the basement of our family home in 1994. In 1996 we moved to offices in downtown Grove City, PA and in 2005 built our own building just outside of town.

In 2007 we were approached through a family member who asked if we were interested in talking with someone about investigating this “Athletic Trainer thing”. As lifelong sports participants and enthusiasts we were happy to meet and ultimately buy the software...rechristened it “The Athletic Trainer System”.

From our start working with our 1st client, Slippery Rock University, we have been blessed to work with around 600 clients in 49 states and Canada. ATS clients include high schools, all levels of colleges, outreach programs and those in industrial settings.

We are very well known for our customer support and willingness to consider client ideas and recommendations. The sole reason/purpose of our company and ATS is to meet the ongoing needs of those involved in the sports medicine community: athletic trainers and other medical professionals, athletes, students, coaches, administrators, parents/contacts.
